Chamna Natural Preserve at Sunset

I was so excited when Thora reached out to me for a session. When booking new clients for portraits, I ask for inspo pics to get an idea of what kind of vibe they want during their session. Sending pictures helps us get on the same page when looking for a location and helps me achieve the look they are going through posing prompts. Thora was so helpful; she was more than willing to send over a Pinterest page filled with beautiful desert-inspired portraits. These pictures helped me narrow down a location quickly, as many spots in the Tri-Cities have beautiful desert tones.

Close-Up Shots and Rose Gold Light

We ended up taking the session to the Chamna Natural Preserve. We got so many beautiful shots, as Thora was a natural in front of the camera. I am a big fan of close-up portrait photos, and I loved the close-ups we got of her. The sunset evolved into this gorgeous rose gold. 

I am so excited to share some highlights from this session; they are great inspirations for future sagebrush desert portraits.
